*The introduction of Spiritech high tech waterjet cutting in the   production of our clock dials and components eliminates a typical heat affected zone (HAZ) during the manufacturing process.  This HAZ is present in standard and/or traditional "thermal cutting" processes (such as oxy-fuel, plasma, laser, etc.), during manufacturing and creates metallurgical distortion and/or non-conformities to the metal properties which the hands and the components are comprised of.
Accordingly, waterjet produced clock hands and related unit components, with no HAZ present, offer an opportunity for truer rotating balance, better accuracy and better performance in the life-long functionality of the clock unit itself.
